Finally, I can watch television without guilt, because the MYEs, which has tortured me for the past 2 to 3 weeks of my June holiday, is finally over. There was a lot of 'bloodshed' involved during those hours of examination for everybody. xD I feel very short-changed actually, this is the first time that I have consecutively sat down from almost from morning to night for the past 2 weeks of my holiday to study/mug, and all I got in exchange are straight 'U's for all my H2s (H1 SHOULD/ & MUST be ok, if not I'll die). I didn't even resort to this during the O levels. I should have, because I know I'd have done better if I'd. Instead, after all this 'efforts' on my part, it just doesn't seem enough. And like what I said on Facebook, (I)'Tiara Lim Man Ting think it's best that she doesn't comment about her MYEs cos she will either 1. Start hatching a diabolical plan to send the world into apocalypse so that things such as exams and grades such as 'U's won't exist 2. Start speaking in colourful expletives in every language she can command (which is 5) 3. Recruit minions who share the same vision as her and assasinate those who played a part in setting the papers'.
I returned back to my volunteering work today at the tampines FSC, like after a month. New students were assigned to me. I got these 2 naughty K2 boys first, before I got this Indian girl in primary 1. And you know what I was supposed to teach her?CHINESE! Like omg, and it was all because her parents wanted her to learn it as a second lnguage. o.o She was quite weak-- didn't know how to write 1 to 10. I made her practise the words, and gave her a spelling test after that. Then I went home and got Subway for dinner! :D It's my 3rd time eating it this week, but I ain't tired of it!
Last friday though, there was the annual Dance Camp at YTSS! It was the same old format of course-- a buffet, followed by Talent Night performances by our juniors. The seniors (sec 4 and graduated ones) were half talked and half pressured into performing, so we just tried to recall some of the dances we did last time, and just did a small performance. There were some forgetting of moves. :X Below is a video, discovered on one of my junior's blog, of the different groups of seniors' dances. Sec 4s, then the 2 groups of JC1s, and then my seniors 2 years in front. I am with my group somewhere at 6.20 I think.(in white and blue)
And since we are on this, let's watch the original version performed during last year's TDC! :D 100% self-choreographed by LD, Jy and me! We went through a lot before we could finally perform, shall tell the story another time. Tell me what you think yea? ;)
There's a bbq this sunday for 4e8, hopefully it'll be fun. On monday, it's k-ing for jy, ld(maybe) and me! Tomorrow, hopefully will be shopping, if not I'll stay at home and make baked rice(it passed my gourmet father's standards, though of course, it can always be improved) for my family. Shall upload my culinary pictures if I remember to take some (which I always forget to take the past 3 times I made the thing). And YAY! There's Boys Over Flowers tomorrow night! :D
