It's simply saddening
The Syf results were out yesterday, and it broke all our hearts.I couldn't believe it at first, and thought the teachers were kidding, until they gave us a minute for it to sink in. And that was when everyone started breaking down. We were that disappointed. All of us spent a whole hour in that room yesterday, crying, stopping, then breaking down again. We really deserved better, and I know it, we know it.(Yes that's to you straight, judges) But I know we're not alone, because everyone's got everyone. It was so hard to accept, because we really did whatever we could. Today morning, the team went up to the podium and announced the results together during assembly. The principal added some super nice words after our announcement, saying we were really good and all. She's so nice, but I know she knows we really deserved better. But we weren't really listening, because some of us began to sob when she started, and this led to the much-feared contagious break down, even though we were bracing ourselves before that and swore not to do so. We had a group hug right there and then, trying to comfort one another, and the principal joined us and cheered us up by insisting we cheer x) It's amazing how much better it feels to know the whole team is in it together, and I'll forever remember this and the memories we had these few months together, and I am proud of us.
