Grabbing the bar
I am backkkkk! Long time since I posted, I know x) Basically, what's happened to me this past week was the norm- lectures, tutorials, dance, and more dance from Mon-Thurs. BUT the good thing is, I am no longer whining about it, because I've finally found back the reason for me to want to go to practices. I was pretty nervous on Thursday, because that was the day the male choreographer was coming, after all these weeks of being overseas,(he has a nice reputation for shouting I heard) and I was super scared and stressed, because some of my moves were still not clean yet, thanks to my slow learning ability. When he came, the j1s sat down, while he grilled the j2s by clearing up the moves that was already blocked. So we sat at the side, watching him ask our seniors do the moves over and over again. Then came a time when he told our seniors to take 2, and asked us to show him our moves. The first time he stopped us, it wasn't because of me, but the second time, it was. I was stressed at that moment, wondering what he'd say. He fumbled for the namelist(we were all wearing number tags because he didn't know our names) and when he read my name, he asked with a puzzled look whether I went for any auditions, and I smiled like a fool and said yes. He said he remembered my name and smiled a little, which made me relax a little, before he pointed out my mistake. It didn't seem that bad after all you know. Then the blocking begun and so far he blocked 4 J1s already, which didn't include me, but it's ok, sooner or later he'd put the rest of us inside i guess, since the syf namelist has already been submitted, and I don't mind either, because I admit that they are better than me (: but considering the fact that I'd no background in contemp, but still somehow got into the team, is kind of an indicator of some standard i think? x) And when he started the blocking, I found that 'want' to be in the dance, that has been absent in me these 2 weeks, and hopefully, it will stay like that.

On Thurs, before dance, Krystal, Thamilah and I went off to Subway at Tampines, even though it was raining cats and dogs. I was trying hard to avoid getting drenched, when we alighted, but when we came to this zebra crossing, we stood in the shelter for a while. I was standing a little further away, because I was gaping at the fact that we had to dash across since there was no shelter across, but then Thamilah asked me to stand where they were, at the place where we'd to cross. THEN came this stupid secondary school boy who dashed across the zebra crossing from the other side. AND in the meantime of doing so, he stepped hard into the big puddle of muddy water that was collecting at our end of zebra crossing, and it splashed ON US! It hit some of Krystal's skirt, Thamilah's uniform, and YOU KNOW WHAT? MY WHOLE FACE! YES he actually splashed mud water on my face, and my hair was dripping wet! I was trying hard to keep dry but this clumsy hullaballoo's grand idea of a Big Splash at Tampines totally drenched me in an instant. Seriously, doesn't he have some sense?? Obviously when he runs into a puddle of water, it will splash everywhere around! I glared at him and his friend(who had the good sense not to repeat the splash like his fellow), since they didn't even apologise! I was soooo mad ok, and still am when I think about it. Thamilah said I should have given him a tongue lashing right there and then. They were all laughing when they found out the splash hit me big in the face. Somehow, everytime when we go to Subway, something bad will happen to us. The big victim this time was Krystal though(last time was me), on top of getting wet, she couldn't make it back to school in time for something, and even fell down when we alighted the bus on our way back to school.

We decided to do something about the half an hour travelling time too, and decided to check out downtown east after our meal, since there was a rumoured Subway there, and it's only 5 mins from our sch! There really was one, and there's Fish and Co Express there too! I tried it today, with the 2 plus Avril this time, and it was simply delish! We were SO happy xD
Anyway, Subway's going to open at NP finally! I no longer have to run all the wya to AMK everytime my craving acts up already. I've got somemore things to say, but shall leave it for the next post, since this's long enough! :D
