Let it snow~~
The festive season is here! :D Was busy last Saturday going for a Christmas party held by my father's Lions Club fellow members. The hosts were people living on landed property of course, with their own pool and all. The party was ok, since all I did was to eat eat and eat. What else? I couldn't possibly join in with the small talk the adults were making. :X Below is a snippet of an "interesting conversation" at the party, when I went to get drinks.

The lady serving drinks: Hello lady, what drink would you want?
Me: Sprite?
The lady: Sure? You don't want beer or alcohol?
Me: (smiles sheepishly)No,I am underaged
The lady: (Looks at me in an amusing manner) Sure or nottt?
Me: Yeah. (???!!!!)

Anyway, I managed to get in a few bits of turkey at the second house.(We went to the second house to visit for a while) I liked the food at the second house better. The first house served catering from Casuarina Curry, with a roti prata chef whipping up fresh roti pratas on the spot.

Work at the tuition centre on saturday was pretty fun towards the end, since there was a little boy named Mason, who was clever and knew what was going on, but simply refused to concentrate on his work, and thus was bestowed a standing spot at the first teachers' table, where I was sitting. I was supposed to guide him to finish all his corrections, but he kept trying to talk nonsense with me.Left me exasperated, because I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I think he knew that I was a new teacher and was trying to "bully" me. Hahaha and in the end, he was the last one left, and finally shut up when the Indian teacher I was helping took over me. Kept yakking his head off, that boy. But he's very cute xD It happened to be his birthday that day too :D

My aunt gave me some $$ to spend for Christmas and my birthday since she didn't know what to give me. She got my brother a shirt of his fav player, Fabregas(I call it Fart-Gas) lols, and asked me whether I wanted a Crumpler bag. I didn't know what it was, but it seems that it's the latest in thing according to my lil bro.But since I didn't know what it was, I had no desire for it. To make things simpler, she just gave me money to buy whatever I wanted. I want a new bag for JC!! Hopefully I can get a bargain this festive season. And a box of monthly contact lenses! Whoever knows the rough prices of monthly contacts, please tell me. It will be very nice of you (: And last but not least,

MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING!!! (I will insist on pasta for a meal)
